The Weeknd is a Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer who is regarded as one of the world's best-selling music artists, with over 75 million records sold.

Was born on February 16, 1990, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye. His parents separated shortly after he was born. He started working at American Apparel which is a brand of clothes.

He got his start by realizing music anonymously online. In 2010, Abel uploaded a few songs to youtube anonymously. He posted his music under the name ``The Weeknd`, which would become the name under which he rose his fame.

The Weeknd is an ISFP personality type. Some of the biggest accomplishments of Weeknd are four Grammys Awards, and twenty Billboard Music Awards, among others.

I admire the Weeknd because of his type of music and the lyrics and what happened to him as a boy
