Taylor Alison Swift is an American Singer-songwriter, producer, director, and actress, who is known as one of the most recognized women in the music industry. She has 10 albums in total. Her most recent one called “Midnights” broke the record of the most reproduced album on its launching day and also reached all spots on the Top 10 songs on billboard.
She spent her childhood on a christmas tree farm with her parents and her brother. She showed interest in music at a very young age, so at age 9 she started taking lessons in New York City and later decided to shift her focus towards country music.
Taylor then started working on her debut album and persuaded Big Machine to hire Nathan Chapman to produce her songs. Her first lead single “Tim McGraw” was released in June 2006, and Taylor Swift’s self titled album was released later that year, on October 24, 2006. It peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard 200, where it spent 275 weeks and by her fifth album “1989” she turned more into a pop culture artist.
Taylor tends to have strong social skills and intuition, and may move between topics quickly, she tends to be creative, sensitive, and expressive. Generally likes to be unique and seeks to find a distinct identity.
As a philanthropist, she supports arts education, children's literacy, natural disaster relief funds, feminism, LGBT rights, and charities for sick children.
Due to various factors, such as her impact in the world of music, her great commercial success and her media influence, she was named the "woman of the decade" by Billboard magazine in 2019.
