Lana del Rey. By Artemisa Rodall.

Elizabeth Woolridge Grant (New York, June 21, 1985), artistically known as Lana Del Rey, is an American singer, songwriter, model, and producer.

When she was 14 years old, she developed a serious addiction to alcohol, and at 15 her parents sent her to the Kent School, a private boarding school in Connecticut to recover from alcoholism.

Grant's uncle taught her to play the guitar. Soon after, she began writing songs and performing in city nightclubs at age 18 and signed her first record deal when she was 20 with 5 Points Records.

In 2010, she released her debut studio album Lana Del Ray, followed by "Video Games", and Born to Die (a hit) among other albums and collaborations with celebrities.

Not much is said about her currently since she retired from her career as a singer, but apparently, she follows her passions, she is someone charitable and with a healthy life.
